Giving Back To The Local Community

In conjunction with providing legal advocacy to clients, Zachary Poole is dedicated to charitable work based on his personal-life experiences. His son, Benjamin was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer shortly after his second birthday.  Benjamin stood up to cancer with unwavering strength, grace and determination.  Benjamin's journey took our family across the country from our hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina to Washington, DC, and Columbus, Ohio in search for a cure.  

Benjamin's fight included multiple brain surgeries, six rounds of high dose chemotherapy, as well as, 30 rounds of radiation therapy.  He also participated in a monoclonal radiation antibody therapy trial.  Benjamin's treatment has taught us how important it is that we find a cure to this disease and with the understanding that a battle with cancer is not defined by wins or losses but how you fight the disease and how you help others get through it.

In honor of Benjamin, Zachary Poole, and his wife Molly Poole started the Benjamin The Brave Medulloblastoma Cancer Foundation. with a mission to help families directly affected by the disease through compassionate financial assistance so they can spend more time focusing on loving their child and the medical care they receive while undergoing their journey.
